A Week in Style... Paris Couture Week

This week has been the highlight of the Fashion Calender Couture Week in Paris and the designers certainly have given us lots to look forward come Autumn/Winter 2012/13, from Valentino to Chanel to Armani Prive' and Jean Paul Gaultier all the fashion stops were well and truly pulled out.
Valentino display bold use of colour and stunning drapery, Armani Prive' chose Italian drama and operatics with Midnight Blues and Shiny Silvers. Karl Lagerfeld displayed soft feminine colours and fantasy designs at Chanel shoqing why he is king of the Couture runway, while Jean Paul Gaultier took us back to the roaring 20's with Great Gatesby inspired looks mixed with futuristic design, making old look new and new look vintage.
With AList front rows, amazing venues and Parisian style no fashion stone was left unturned. I'm looking forward to the coming months for the fashion alone and I'm sure the Celebrity AList are looking forward to wearing some of these designs in the coming months too, and if they can't wait that long then the collections go on sales after the shows for between £10,000 and £100,000 better find my check book...
